iPhone Game Time

I recently found myself without any cell service (raising the bar?), no games on my iPhone and no escape for hours. Upon returning to safer territory I ventured into the iTunes app store and let myself spend a few of my hard earned dollars on some entertainment. New Opportunity

I have accepted a new position as a Network Administrator for a local Sacramento Company; Composite Engineering.

This was not an easy decision for me to make. The past two and a half years at Bayside Church have been very rewarding. I have genuinely enjoyed getting to know and work with everyone the church staff on a wide variety of activities. I will truly miss seeing everyone on a daily basis.

Race Day

I’m writing from the airport because yesterday was such a full day and I probably won’t be able to post this online until Tuesday. We awoke and were eager to get to our seats at the track and see the race. After a couple days of experience going between the track and hotel, we knew that it took an hour to get between points. The metro was filled with loads of people going to the race. Just about everybody was wearing Ferrari red. It is the most popular and recognizable team, but it got that way for a reason. I was sporting my new BMW team shirt and listening to my ipod to drown out the noise.

Friday Practice

Today Steven and I awoke bright and early at 8:30. Bear in mind that our bodies are (were) still on west coast time so it felt like 5:30 to us, But it was a beautiful day and we were excited to find our way to the Gilles Villeneuve circuit.

Our hotel shuttle took us on a 5 or so minute drive to the Metro where we hopped on and easily found our way to the correct stop. As we headed downtown we began to see more and more people in race paraphernalia (mostly red, Ferrari) ready to enjoy a day at the track.
